Abingdon Traditional Morris Dancers performed at the request of Abingdon Town Council on 8th September in support of Heritage Day. Never ones to miss an opportunity, the side christened the newly refurbished market place by performing a few dances on it during the morning. During the day the side collected for Abingdon's flood victims and the Mayor of Ock Street later presented over £200 to the Mayor of Abingdon for that cause.
