Pictures show preparation for a mass performance of "Nutting Girl". This dance is traditionally the last to be performed, and where support is particularly enthusiastic, the side dances it once to show how it is done, then invites bystanders to join in a second performance, sharing (as you can see) hats, handkerchiefs and other paraphenalia with the newcomers. The dance starts after singing
A nutting we will go, my boys
A nutting we will go
We'll catch a little fox
And put him in a box
And never let him go
